Wi-Fi designed around your premises

Weak coverage, overloaded wireless networks and unreliable roaming can make otherwise good broadband feel unusable. We help plan and install wireless networks around the rooms, people and devices that need a connection.

This service focuses on access-point installations and network improvements. For everyday household coverage problems, our home Wi-Fi service explains the simpler starting points.

What we can help with

  • Reviewing building layout, coverage requirements and existing network equipment.
  • Planning access-point locations and suitable wired or wireless uplinks.
  • Installing and configuring agreed access points and network equipment.
  • Separating staff and guest access where supported by the design.
  • Checking coverage in the agreed areas and documenting the handover.

Connect workshops, farm buildings and outbuildings

We provide point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless links for buildings around a business, workshop or farm site. A point-to-point link connects two locations; a point-to-multipoint design connects one main location to several receiving buildings.

We assess the route, distances, line of sight, obstructions and capacity needed, then plan the receiving building’s local Wi-Fi or wired network. Read more about our building-to-building wireless links.

Coverage first, equipment second

Walls, floors, outdoor spaces, neighbouring networks and the devices themselves all affect wireless performance. We discuss where you need reliable access and how the network is used before recommending equipment.

A wired connection to an access point may be preferable where practical. Mesh can help in suitable locations, but extra wireless hops and poor placement can limit performance. We can discuss network cabling where it improves the design.

What to send with your enquiry

Tell us your location, property type, problem areas and the approximate number of users or devices. A simple floor plan is useful if available. For a separate building, see point-to-point wireless links. Advertised radio speeds are not a guarantee of real-world coverage or throughput.

Support across Cheshire and surrounding counties

We welcome enquiries from Crewe, Nantwich, Winsford, Tarporley, Northwich and Warrington, as well as customers across Cheshire and the surrounding counties, including Shropshire, Staffordshire and Denbighshire. Tell us your postcode and what you need so we can discuss a suitable visit, remote session or project assessment.

Common questions

Can you add Wi-Fi to an existing network?

Often, yes. We assess the router, switching, cabling and any existing access points before deciding what can sensibly be retained.

Can guests be kept separate from office systems?

We can discuss guest-network separation and the required router, switch and access-point configuration. A separate Wi-Fi name alone does not confirm that traffic is isolated.

Will faster Wi-Fi fix slow incoming broadband?

Not necessarily. We check whether the problem starts with wireless coverage, the local network or the service coming into the property.
