Understand where the connection is falling short
An unreliable connection can have more than one cause. The broadband service brings internet access to the property, while the local network and Wi-Fi distribute it to your devices. Improving one part does not always fix a problem in another.
Cheshire Technology Solutions helps you look at the whole connection: where you need coverage, how the building is laid out and what the devices are trying to do. This provides a more useful starting point than simply changing the router and hoping for the best.

When to consider 4G or 5G broadband
Mobile broadband may be worth considering where fixed-line options are limited, where a property needs another type of connection or where you want to discuss a secondary internet link. Suitability depends on the location, network coverage, equipment and the intended use.
Signal strength and achievable performance can vary. We discuss those factors and any checks needed before recommending a particular approach. Specific speeds or coverage cannot be assumed from the availability of a 4G or 5G service alone.
Plan around your property
Walls, distances, outbuildings and the number of connected devices can all influence the solution. Tell us which rooms or work areas are affected, whether the issue is constant or intermittent, and which broadband equipment you already use. We can then discuss the next steps and whether a site visit would be useful.
Areas we cover
We welcome enquiries across Cheshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Denbighshire. Our coverage includes Crewe, Nantwich, Stoke-on-Trent, Whitchurch, Winsford, Tarporley, Wrexham and Market Drayton. Tell us your location and what you need so we can discuss the appropriate support or project arrangements.
Common questions
Is Wi-Fi the same as broadband?
No. Broadband is the connection into the property. Wi-Fi is the wireless network that connects your devices locally. Either can cause a poor experience, so it is useful to establish where the problem starts.
Can 4G or 5G work where fixed broadband is poor?
It may provide an alternative, but suitability is location-dependent. Network coverage, signal conditions, equipment and service terms all need to be checked before deciding.
